Atlanta Micro Short Film Festival

Your film doesn't need a long runtime to make an impact. ATL Micro gives films six minutes or less their own festival, with big-screen screenings, engaged audiences, and a chance to stand out among more than 100 independent shorts.

We want you to be part of the festival, not just the lineup. Join fellow filmmakers for screenings, mixers, parties, and special events. Meet other creatives, make connections, celebrate your work, and enjoy a full day of independent film.

Your work deserves recognition. ATL Micro presents physical awards in multiple categories, including Best Micro Short, Best Director, Best Local Film, and Audience Choice. Winners receive recognition that celebrates their filmmaking achievements.

Spend the day with filmmakers in Atlanta's most creative neighborhood. Our home at 7 Stages Theatre puts you steps away from local restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife. There's plenty to explore and plenty of opportunities to connect between screenings.

ATL Micro Shorts is part of the Atlanta Film Series, celebrating 25 years of supporting independent filmmakers. Now in its fourth year, ATL Micro continues that tradition by giving filmmakers working in the shortest formats a dedicated festival, a big screen, and an audience for their work.
